BarnColor-Native-4K takes HDMI™ transport to the next level by delivering uncompressed signals over fiber up to 10km distance. This capability is crucial for event companies using large LED monitors, where any compression artifacts can significantly impact viewer experience. Each BarnColor-Native-4K unit transports 1x HDMI™ signal, and by cascading four different colored BarnColor-Native-4K units, you can transmit 4 uncompressed HDMI™ signals over an OpticalCon DUO or LC fiber cable.
A dedicated 10/100/1000Mbit Ethernet port is provided, offering a network link that operates concurrently with the HDMI transmission. This is useful for device communication, such as controlling a projector.
BarnColor-Native-4K can also be combined with any other BarnColor products in the same cascade. This innovation ensures pristine image quality, no matter the scale of the display.
Compatibility
The BarnColor devices can be installed in colored pairs or used as satellites together with a BarnOne system. If building a pure BarnColor system you can start with any color-matching pair and extend the system later as your need expands. You can combine different models of BarnColors or use multiple of the same model in the same system as long as the colors are different.
We recommend using single mode fibers when linking the BarnColor devices.
